My travels in Peru - Mountain Biking with Audley Travel

Earlier this year, Audley specialist Nik visited Peru on a mountain biking trip and reordered his experience using a GoPro.

I went to Peru in March to research some excursions in and around the Sacred Valley and to cycle through the beautiful countryside.

I began in Chinchero via Moray (old inca terracing used for agricultural experiments), and on to Maras, where there are old salt pans still in use today.

I also did a few breathtaking hikes around the valley, visited some amazing ruins and got a chance to do a cookery course in Cuzco, learning classic Peruvian dishes such as Ceviche and Lomo Saltado, as well as how to mix the perfect Pico Sour.
