EATING ROASTED GUINEA PIGS IN CUSCO, PERU

This was one experience I was kinda dreading from the start but knew we had to do.
My only experience with guinea pigs till this point had always been in the context of them being fluffy, furry pet and the idea of having one on a dinner plate never even crossed my mind - this is, until we found out that it was a delicacy here. We managed to leave this off till the very last day we were in Peru (literally just before leaving for the airport). Here's what it was like.
