24 HOURS IN CUSCO || Peru Travel Vlog - Day 1
The first video of our travels across Peru! We recently spent about 2 weeks in Peru and figured now was as good a time as any to actual start a proper travel vlog.
The travel to Cusco was one of the longest we've ever done. We started off in Amsterdam, then flew into London (don't ask why), then flew directly to Lima after which we spend about 8 hours in transit followed by a flight over to Cusco. It took almost 30 hours in total!
Anyway, long travel over and done with, we arrived far too early to check in and decided to just hit Cusco without any sleep. (Also, we did have to pick up our tickets for Machu Picchu as we'd be leaving for Machu Picchu the next day).
The main plan was to chill (strongly advised to help acclimatise and avoid altitude sickness) and seeing as we'd be back in Cusco several times, this plan made sense in theory but our curiosity got the better of us and we decided to head out and see Cusco in all it's glory!
I'm gonna stop waffling on now - this video is what we got up to in our first 24 hours in Cusco!
